Jennifer Falkenstern has worked as Jesse Coyle’s Paralegal since 2017, concentrating on estate planning and estate administration. Jennifer’s background in both the law and life — along with her compassion and dedication to her work — make her an integral part of the firm. Before moving to North Carolina in 2017, she successfully worked as an Estate Manager for high net worth individuals and companies where she managed staff and properties in Old Greenwich, CT, Bergen County, NJ, Sussex County, NJ, New York City, and Los Angeles, CA.
Jennifer was born and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey. She attended and received her bachelor’s degree from Eugene Lang College at the New School in New York City, a university designed around small seminars, working closely with faculty and partaking in a community that was committed to social justice, which is of the utmost importance to her. After a relapse of Leukemia in 2005, Jennifer received a stem cell transplant from an unrelated donor who lived in Sweden. Following her recovery she had a great desire to help others, as she was given this amazing chance to live again from a stranger; she went on to become the Director of a non-profit foundation in New Jersey that raised money for local families in need. In the time that she headed the foundation, over $1 million was raised and over 400 families were helped. In 2011, Jennifer chose to pursue getting her law degree (Juris Doctorate) from Rutgers University in New Jersey, which she accomplished in May 2014.
When she isn’t working, Jennifer enjoys spending her free time with her family going on hikes, listening to music, playing tennis and biking, as well as playing and cuddling with her dogs.
