Christy Bennett

Christy Bennett joined the Carolina Tax, Trusts, and Estates team of Van Camp, Meacham & Newman, PLLC in February, 2026. She is a graduate of Elon College with a BA in Elementary Education and Central Carolina Community College with a diploma in Paralegal Technology. She began her career teaching preschool and elementary school for 15 years in Moore County and decided to go back to school to pursue paralegal studies. She has been a certified paralegal for 15 years and has worked in private practice with an emphasis on family law and civil litigation and in local government as a Deputy Clerk and Superior Court Manager. Christy has been happily married for 30 years to a United pilot and enjoys reading, traveling, watching true crime documentaries, and spending time with her daughters and pit lab, Luna.
