He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2007 and attained an LL.M. in Taxation in 2009. He moved to North Carolina in 2011 and presently concentrates his work largely in North Carolina estate planning, probate, business planning, and taxation.

Jesse brings his clients the benefits of his background in financial planning, tax, insurance and business law. Beginning in 2009, he served at Credit Suisse as a Wealth Strategist for high net worth individuals. In 2011, he began work at what was then Webb & Graves, PLLC, obtaining insurance licenses in Life Insurance, Health Insurance, and Long Term Care Insurance, as well as passing the Series 65 investment advisor exam. In 2013, Jesse became partner and Webb & Graves was changed to Webb & Coyle, PLLC. In 2019, Jesse, Southern Pines, NC estate planning and probate lawyer, opened up his own law firm – The Law Offices of Jesse T. Coyle, PLLC — which operates under the tradename of “Carolina Tax, Trusts & Estates.”

Jesse spends much of his time speaking and publishing on estate planning and probate topics, and has previously also worked as a Board Member (and in 2016 as the Chairman) of the NC Captive Insurance Association, as a Commissioner (and in 2017 as the Chairman) of the Sanford Housing Authority, and on various non-profit activities.

From 2019 through 2023, Jesse served as the Court Appointed Public Administrator of Moore County.
